Getting Around
There is absolutely no need for a car if you are staying at the apartment, unless you want to visit areas of the Riviera, further afield. Even so, there is a fantastic train network in France and it is so easy to jump on a regular train and get to Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, Villefranche and even the alps. These are all within easy reach. The train station is on Avenue Thiers near the northern end of the main Avenue Jean Medecin and only 15 mins from the main sea front. The telephone number for the station is +33 (0) 8-9235 3535.
The coach network is also fantastic – and at rdlp you are right next to the main coach and bus station. The buses are large, comfortable and fully air-conditioned.
